Bird Feature - Yellow Warbler

Bird Feature - Yellow Warbler

This was our first time camping at Ionia State Recreation campground, and we could not have been happier. Our campsite was heavily wooded and quiet. My wife and I enjoy just sitting outside our camper reading and listening to nature. When we are sitting outside, I usually have my Sony A7RIV at hand with the Sony 200-600mm attached and ready to go. The weather this trip was almost perfect for photography; overcast and a little wet. While my wife and I were reading, I kept seeing this little yellow bird flying around the edges of our campsite. I started to figure out his pattern at set my camera up. I was giddy like a little school girl, because his bright yellow colors popped in the green foliage, these little birds love wooded areas. The male yellow warblers are very similar to the females. The key feature between males and females is the chest, males have redish streaks and females do not. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Until the next bird feature.
